Daren Mahoney, M.D., earned his B.S. in Botany from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah before graduating from Saint Louis University-School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 2013. He completed his emergency medicine residency training in Las Vegas through University of Nevada in 2016. Dr. Mahoney is board certified in EM with experience in event medicine at events such as the Las Vegas Rock’n’Roll Marathon, Toughest Mudder and Las Vegas NASCAR race.
Dr. Mahoney is an avid sports fan, living and dying with the St Louis Cardinals. He enjoys golfing, coaching his sons’ baseball teams and cheering for his favorite gymnast, his daughter. Dr. Mahoney and his wife of 18 years, enjoy Disney World, cruising and exploring new places. He loves the outdoors and is the founding member of Team Lollygaggers, competing in adventure races, most notably Sea-to-Sea, crossing the state of Florida in three days.
